Loic Henriot

Loïc Henriot has been a lawyer for over 20 years and is a partner at the firm Henriot & Associés. He has developed a recognised expertise in criminal defence (white-collar defence) and in complex financial litigation. In criminal defence, Loïc has extensive experience in cases involving misuse of company assets, tax fraud, fraud, corruption, money laundering, concealment, insider trading, market abuse, embezzlement of public funds, international sanctions and regulated activities (particularly dual-use goods). In complex financial litigation, Loïc has gained extensive experience in disputes involving directors (dismissal, bad leavers, mismanagement, etc.), shareholder disputes (agreements, abuse of majority rights, etc.), post-acquisition matters, stock market litigation and financial litigation (financial losses).

Loïc has been singled out by the Legal 500 for stock market and commercial litigation in France. He is recommended for handling "sensitive cases" thanks to his ability to "adapt to changes of pace, anticipate developments in a case and encourage clients to take bold decisions when necessary". Loïc is also a "remarkable technician who knows how to combine psychology and strategy in complex situations. Prior to founding Henriot & Associés, Loïc was a partner at Cohen & Gresser (2018-2023) and previously founded Henriot Avocats (2008-2018). Attorney since 2001, he began his career with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Davis Polk & Wardwell in mergers & acquisitions and litigation, in New York and Paris.

He is fluent in French, English, and Italian.
